Get ahead in your college journey with Dual Enrollment!

Follow these steps to continue earning credits in your high school class that count toward your future education.

Before You Begin—What You’ll Need

To make the process smooth, have these documents ready and tasks completed:

Some courses require one or more placement documents/assessments, such as:

  • Unofficial High School Transcript (11th & 12th grade only)
  • SAT, ACT, or official AP score

Take note of the following: High School, Term, Subject Area, Catalog Number, Class Number
(Example: My High School, Spring 25, ENG, 101, 12345)

Dual Enrollment Steps

Before completing your forms, find the college course info for your high school class by going to maricopa.edu/dual-contact and completing these steps:
 

  1. Choose the Maricopa college offering your class.
  2. Select “Class List Offerings.”
  3. Find your high school and check any prerequisites.
  4. rite down: high school, term, subject area, catalog number, and class number.

 

Example: My High School, Spring 25, ENG 101, 12345

 

Next, check your placement requirements at maricopa.edu/dual-placement to confirm what your classes require.

 

You may need:

  • Unofficial high school transcript (for 11th and 12th graders only)
  • SAT, ACT, or official AP score report
  • EdReady or Accuplacer placement result

 

Have your documentation ready, if applicable, before starting the Dual Enrollment Class Form.

After you complete Step 1, you’ll be ready to submit your Dual Enrollment Class Form. This form becomes available in July and usually  takes 10-20 minutes to complete.

 

  1. Sign in with your Maricopa email and password at maricopa.edu/student-center.
  2. Select Student Forms, then High School and Under 18 Forms.
  3. Select and complete the Dual Enrollment Class Form, using the course info you gathered in Step 1 and upload any required placement documents.
     

After you submit your Dual Enrollment Class Form, your registration will be completed once all course and placement requirements are verified. Missing or incomplete requirements may delay your registration.

Once you’re registered, pay online, by phone, or in person through your college’s Student Business Services office.

To Pay Online:

  1. Log in to your Student Center at maricopa.edu/student-center
  2. Select the “Financial Account” tile
  3. Make a Payment and select “View Payment Options”

Taking classes through more than one Maricopa college? You must pay each college separately, and payment plans must be set up separately.

Note: Your college may have different tuition rates based on your high school district. For more information, visit your college’s Dual Enrollment website from the main Dual Enrollment page.

Need help with tuition? You may qualify for the Maricopa Grant. Check with your college for deadlines!
