Telling Apache Stories Through Skateboards
At Mesa Community College, Apache artist Douglas Miles learned lessons he still carries with him today. As founder of Apache Skateboards, he has helped create new ways to share Apache stories through art and skateboarding.
His company and his art are helping Native youth take pride in who they are and celebrating their role in shaping communities across Arizona.
